The Certification Engineer Emergency Lighting will have a responsibility for certification and also assurance of the portfolios of the products for Central Power Supply Systems for the Emergency Lighting. The Certification Engineer will be responsible for advising and specifying products while going through the designing, developing, testing phases and finally managing the approval process of products. As well as working with national & International known third parties who are certifying Emergency Lighting. Also, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the certification and recertification of the existing products of the product portfolio.
Completing application forms and also gathering data for the new projects from the Product Management
Making recommendations on procedures and processes to reduce time delays with the approval bodies
Working with the Product Management and Engineering Team to ensure procedures and systems are accurate to reduce delays and errors at Approvals or Certification bodies.
Keeping detailed records and also advise approval bodies of minor and major modifications in collaboration with the standardization & document management department.
Ensure available documents related to this role will be updated and compliant with relevant directives and also risk-assessments; as well as catalogues, products user manuals, leaflets and website information
Creating the associated technical documents according to the requirements and needs of European Directives
