The Key Accounts Manager will have a responsibility for the Business Development and Sales activities for the Solid State Lighting products at the assigned accounts. Cooperate and interact with the regional sales representatives; as well as the distribution or channel representatives as required. Partner with the product marketing and business unit for technical support of any related activities and services.
Responsibilities of the Key Accounts Manager Solid State Lighting (SSL):
The KAM will identify and cultivate new business opportunities, as well as emerge lighting accounts within an assigned area and also acquire new customers through qualifying leads.
Maintain good relationships and increase sales with the current and potential accounts; and also create the account base.
Develop action plans with the goal of increasing market share and also evaluate customers’ trends.
Develop good strategic business relationships with the key customers and distributors. Influence industry and supplier relationships in order to generate sales opportunities. Also build strong business relationships with teams, as well as maintain effective coverage of the accounts.
Perform the reviews with the suitable leaders. Also, develop the sales strategies in order to meet business goals.
Adapt the solutions to meet customers’ requirements and also influence the SSL organizations to provide the needed products & services.
Maintain and develop accurate forecasts and budgets for design wins.
Requirements for of the Key Accounts Manager Solid State Lighting (SSL):
Bachelor’s Degree in (Electrical Engineering) or equivalent
Minimum five years of working experience in (SSL, LED, components and/or chips). Also, semiconductors and/or optoelectronics.
Excellent sales attitude and high closing skills. Proactive, self-starter and high energy.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills, must have strong soft skills and presentation skills. Lead, organize, and facilitate meetings, presentations and also training.
Know, and communicate the technical information in a professional, and understandable manners.
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and other related database programs. SAP prior experience is a plus. As well as Experience in forecasting systems and similar tools to Model N is a plus.
Client-facing experience in optoelectronic components or any equivalent.
Ability to interact with both non-technical and technical personnel.
Excellent business acumen (negotiating, closing, forecasting).
Maintain knowledge about products and also competitive landscapes.
Domestic and international calls across different time zones.
Able to interact with employees at any level of the organization.
