National Account Manager Lighting Specification

Philips Lighting is a world leading company in the lighting businesses (Systems, Services and Products), they are leading the industry and also the market. As well as, Philips is a lighting solutions provider to enhance the customers’ experience where they live, work and on streets. The Company is now hiring a National Account Manager Lighting Specification to be part of the team.

You will be driving end-user sales in the retrofit/renovation, MRO, and new business construction for retail and hospitality segment for the Philips Lighting product portfolio.

As the National Account Manager, you will be reporting to the Key Account Sales Leader of Philips North America – Retail Group.

The National Account Manager Lighting Specification responsibilities will be:

  • Developing new National Account and also Hospitality opportunities via cold calling architects, distributor partners, and end users. Presenting and explaining complex solutions. Also, translating values to sales through the distributor partners.
  • Developing and executing a strategy to keep and grow the existing customers by developing the key decision maker relationships, understanding their needs, and also delivering to meet their expectations.
  • Developing strong relationships with existing architects, end users, and channel partners. Identifying key decision makers, also planning to gain Philips Lighting preference.
  • Creating relationships with the key accounts. Building long-term sales strategy, as well as, meeting short-term sales & revenue objectives.
  • Maximizing sales performance and profitability. Determining the suitable balance between sales volume, price, and other factors.
  • Engaging with KAMs. Also, providing distribution & sales support to end-users and delivering sales results.
  • Providing accurate forecasting for the key end-users.

The National Account Manager Lighting Specification responsibilities will be:

  • Three years’ experience in commercial lighting specification sales (Retail & Hospitality).
  • Three years’ experience in sales with end-user customers. Also, construction or electrical business experience is highly desired.
  • Minimum education of BA or an equivalent certificate.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Experience in two-step sales model.
  • Strong negotiations skills
  • Good organizational and time management skills. As well as, Responding to customers’ requests
  • Able to travel 50-75% of the time
  • Legally authorized to work in the US without current / future sponsorship needs
