You should be a Proposal Manager / Bid Manager with strong management skills of the bid phase from focusing on managing risks and developing the quotation through the proposal development
You will have a responsibility of leading and directing the proposal stage and tendering to provide appropriate proposals.
Proposal Manager Responsibilities:
Writing the proposal, for the countries and also translate in customers’ languages
Planning all the required activities in order to deliver on time
Analyzing a competitive environment
Documenting and transmitting the project needs and also buy/make strategy to procurement
Managing approval processes with the guidelines of the project
Transferring all the proposals, contracts, and also risk/opportunity analysis to execution teams
Ensuring that cost targets are met
Analyzing and also including commercial and technical proposals from the third parties
Analyzing all customers’ requirements with the Architecture Manager
Coordinating all Philips Lighting stakeholders
Ensuring all pre-sales activities
Ensuring a close cooperation between sales teams and Systems Center
Proposal Manager Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in technology, business management, sciences, or any related study
A fluent level in (writing – speaking) English and Dutch Languages. Fluent French language is a plus.
Minimum seven years’ experience in fast-paced engineering or technology industry
At least seven years’ experience in calculating project costs; as well as knowledge of financial and budgeting concepts
Experience in multi-cultural working environment
Understanding of Make and Buy strategies and also working experience with the purchasing specialists
Three years working experience in customer and market-facing roles
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent coordination skills, and high responsiveness; as well as drive for delivery
Ability to cooperate and work with wider team and across all the practice areas
