The Regional Sales Manager will have a responsibility for the Business Development and Sales activities in the area for discrete products. Also, you will develop major sales opportunities for all the assigned products.
The Sales Manager will be supervising, interacting and cooperating with the regional sales representatives; as well as the distribution/channel representatives as needed. Working with the product marketing and business unit for any needs and also sales related activities. Cooperating with business leaders who are related to various business opportunities.
Regional Sales Manager Responsibilities:
Developing major sales opportunities with the key customers in area for all the assigned products.
Having a strong knowledge about lighting industry products (LED), solutions environments, market growth, platform, and demands.
Enhance sales growth with existing customers.
Developing, maintaining and growing relationships with the key customers to grow Opto business.
Developing relationships with product marketing, supply chain, business, and engineering teams to make Opto the first choice.
A regular report on major accomplishments and also monitor major metrics in order to identify the areas that need improvement.
Achieving the customer and area forecast.
Supporting and cooperating with the cross-functional teams including Business Development, Applications Engineering, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Quality.
Regional Sales Manager Qualifications:
BSEE is mandatory. Also, have a technical degree to understand & speak about the products, and also interact with the engineering personnel.
Ability to read and understand technical documents related to sales of the products.
Solid knowledge of the products and also a competitive landscape.
Major understanding of relationship/application of the optoelectronics in different applications.
Must have hunter personality.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Seven years’ experience in the sales of LED; As well as, experience in Opto (semiconductor lighting) components is mandatory.
Personal relationships with key accounts at lighting industry is mandatory.
Ability to work efficiently at internal & external organizations.
Successful at driving sales profits and also market growth.
Strong business expertise (forecasting, negotiating).
Experience in managing multi-national and also International Customers.
